Barcelona, Spain – October 2008
What happens when eccentricity is not scorned, but encouraged to flourish?
The hard edges of reality soften into whimsical curves.
Distorted paths are amusing rather than contemptible.
It is admirable to color outside of the lines.
Even the mundane is intensely hued.
Every wall is an empty canvas.
And flowers, no matter how weary, always triumph over the gray.
Inspiring post!
Thanks, Chris.
I just love Gaudi & Barcelona.
Hi Ron – Barcelona is amazing, isn’t it…a surreal wonderland.
Very nice set here J. I can’t choose a favorite ‘coz I love them all. 🙂
Thanks, Prem. 😀
Fantastic images, Julie! Lovely text to go with them, too. Cheers, Steph
Thank you, Steph!
Beautiful! You inspire me to not be intimidated and to write my own comments for my photos.
That’s great. I hope you do!
Is that house on top real– looks like it’s made of gingerbread. Yum.
Yes, it’s real and I agree that it looks good enough to eat. 😉
I love Parc Guell in Barcelona!! The door on my post about Brother Wolf is from that same park. Oh, you’ve brought back such happy memories. I recognized the top 2 pictures immediately, and now I’m wreathed with smiles. Thanks!
It’s a fabulous place for sure. 🙂
